5 Point Multi Hook
The Rotor & Wing 5 point multi hook is a fully tested and rated hook carousel with 5 independently releasable load points. Control is provided via an intuitive cabin mounted control box, incorporating a rotary switch and release button. To release a particular load, the rotary switch is simply turned to the position of the desired load point, and the release button then pushed. A sixth, off position is provided to place the unit in a safe mode. Large, clear numbering of the load points is provided to make load selection a breeze. The carousel is designed to be hung on a strop off the aircrafts main cargo hook, and we use and recommend Ultra Ropes strops for this purpose. The entire carousel can be safely jettisoned in an emergency, with a breakaway wiring plug incorporated in the design. Designed and built in-house, we can guarantee a product that is rugged, functional, easy to maintain, and long lasting. The 5 point multi hook is perfectly suited to: positioning strainer posts and batton bundles for fencing, spot loading trees for planting, dropping supplies to ground hunting parties, distributing equipment to ground crews, spreading salt blocks or feed on farms, and much, much more. |

9 Point Multi Hook
The Rotor & Wing 9 point multi hook is a fully tested and rated hook carousel with 9 independently releasable load points. Control is provided via a cabin mounted selector switch and release button. The selector switch activates a mechanical sequencer mounted on the carousel. This has the dual advantages of allowing all 9 hooks to be controlled by only 3 wires, and being impervious to static electricity buildups, which plague electronic systems. Triggering the selector switch simply advances the sequencer one position. High output LED's mounted on top of the carousel indicate which load point is currently armed, and are easily seen from the cabin. Pressing the release button releases the selected load. A tenth, off position is provided to place the carousel in a safe mode. The top frame of the carousel detaches quickly, allowing the entire unit to be transported inside the helicopter when not in use. It will even fit inside the aft cabin of an R44. The carousel is designed to be hung on a strop off the aircrafts main cargo hook, and we use and recommend Ultra Ropes strops for this purpose. Firelighter
Controlled burn offs have long been an invaluable tool in the clearing of paddocks, controlling scrub and fire fighting, and ground fuel reductions. Rotor & Wing’s Firefly fire lighting system makes these operations fast, efficient and above all, safe. By setting the fire from the air, the operator can easily gain an overview of the burn off, fuel can be added to areas where the flame front is slowing, and undesired fires can be spotted quickly and stopped before they become a problem. The Firefly holds up to 140 litres of flammable petroleum gel which is dispensed via an electric pump and positive shut-off valve. The gel is ignited as it leaves the unit by a high amperage spark. Control of the unit is provided via a cabin mounted control box with a flow rate dial, and a two position switch on the cyclic to turn on and off the pump and igniter. The entire unit can be safely jettisoned in an emergency, with a breakaway wiring plug incorporated in the design. Designed and built in-house, we can provide a product that is rugged, functional, easy to maintain, and long lasting. |

r44 Kayak Racks Heli-Kayaking is becomming more popular throughout New Zealand. These racks are quickly and easily attached to either side of the helicopter. Either one or two kayaks of varying sizes can be carried, and the rear cabin doors are still free to open, allowing for easy cabin entry / exit. |

Longline hooks Based on the proven Breeze Eastern 2A15E hook, these longline hooks feature a grab handle on either side for ease of hanling by ground crew, an unlimited-rotation swivel to stop the longline twisting, and a nylon flight disc to keep the empty hook stable in flight. |

Longlines These low stretch synthetic rope, 50 foot longlines come pre-made with stainless steel eyes, 3 core wiring and external anti-abrasion sheathing. Light weight and easy to handle, they will roll or fold up much smaller than equivalent cable, while giving the same longevity and performance. They are manufactured with a 9 to 1 saftey ratio, and the outter sheathing can be removed for complete inspection of the rope as required. |

Cargo nets These hand spliced synthetic rope cargo nets are both light weight and sturdy. They come in two sizes: 3m x 3m and 3.7m x3.7m and fold up neatly into their own carry bag. They are supplied with either corner or perimeter attach ropes. |
